Many would disagree, but I think its the right decision and I would have done the same. Its a tough choice.

....and yet the courts won't allow people who want to die, but can't do it themselves, to snuff it......hypocrties....

I agree with that.

I also admire the parents exceptional courage in dealing with such and emotional and heart breaking situation.

Personally, I don't know if I could cope if any of my kids reached such a decision.
But I would have to respect it, regardless of how much sadness and pain I would feel.
