Well so far nobody has said its a real bomb.

You would have thought western planes would have been all over the area taking air samples - in order to figure out what kind of bomb it was.

looks like we'll just need to wait for google maps...

I think it was a nuclear detonation, they are far off producing a war head, and do not even have delivery capabilities. If they ever get near that, then they'll be invaded, but we have a few years yet.

Well you dont need a missile as 9/11 proved.

Whats to stop n korea, loading the bomb into a (commercial) cargo plane & flying to LA, or even NY - detonating the bomb above the city centre?

They wouldn't get that far!!! And I doubt they could make it capable of detination under those situations yet.
