Cathay Pacific Asia Miles programme

For those of you who dont bother with these things, just to remind you, Cathay Pacifics Asia miles programme, is worth having, as Singapore Airlines are their partner in this venture, so whichever carrier you use, and we know that Our Forum Administrator Keith goes Singapore, the miles obtained on both carriers are valid.

You get a nice statement of account from Asia Miles in Hong Kong and and this year I have accrued 25000 already, must be getting time to redeem them for a free flight to Hong Kong.

My point exactly, who wants to go to Hong Kong? :) We know a few people that are their, and they say it's a terrible place. Dirty, crime ridden, smog, food not that nice, etc. They always end up working back in Singapore.

Airmiles never seem to cover what I want to do. If you fly to SIngapore with SIA, you get a free flight to any major Asian city anyway, but I don't use that offer either. I never do something just for the sake it's free. Usually end up more trouble than it's worth.

As long as I believe I am getting what I expect for what I have paid for, that is all I ask. :)
