Yes I've heard it's a similar story in Australia now.

Got a friend in Davao,just got his skilled-migration visa for New Zealand,he has applied for an extension as he isnt sure about leaving pinas just yet due to the job market in NZ.

not just NZ thou, my brother in law, he got a job in Dubai working for an Iranian company, was made redundant after only a few months, they didn't pay him all his wages. He then found a job in Dubai working for a British company, then again a few months later was made redundant again, but at least they paid him all his wages and for his air ticket back to the phils.. not a good time for foreign workers :NoNo:

Yes I've heard it's a similar story in Australia now.

i am 100klm north of Sydney and I can confirm that there is a lot of unemployment around and I use Ex pat forum and many of those waiting for job related visa have been dumped.


But if anybody knows how a filipina can get a work visa into Aussie...let us know!!

my nephew has a two year work visa for oz, he's working in perth and says there's loads of work in the construction business.

If a filipina gets enough points, and can get an employer to sponsor her unless one is highly skilled enough with money, then work visa won't be a problem.
