To be honest, I have never actually booked a flight FROM Manila/Cebu to Hong Kong, always the other way round.

The last time Elsa and I fly Hong Kong to Manila with Cebu Pacific, it was something like £95. If however, if you take the Manila to Hong Kong route and you book the flight in the Philippines, it will be a cheaper.

Cebu Pacific are the best value. Theres also PAL (Philippines Airlines) and Cathay Pacific, although these are more expensive. PAL also fly Cebu to Hong Kong, but I think you may need to connect in Manila, as opposed to Cebu Pacific who fly directly to Hong Kong. Of course PAL have flights leaving every 2 - 3 hours from Manila, so thats another option for you if your looking for some flexibility. Cebu Pacific website (http://www.cebupacificair.com/) Philippine Airlines (http://www.philippineairlines.com/) Cathay Pacific (http://www.cathaypacific.com/)

Another much cheaper option for getting to Hong Kong is to use one of the low cost carriers (Easyjet stylee). Only drawback is that they fly from Clark, not Manila and only to Macau, but you can get a 45 minute ferry into Hong Kong easily. The fares are very cheap though, as an example, Tiger *DID have a special $15 promo, but looking at their website, Tiger Air (http://booking.tigerairways.com/home/index.php), theres no flights available for now, this is because Manila Airport Authority have suspended their licence, hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

I will be making a sticky soon for information about flying to and from Philippines..
