More than 5,500 families hit by last summer's floods are still not in their homes and 1,400 are living in caravans.

How long did it take the Yanks to get into New Orleans after Katrina....:Erm:...days....more than a week :xxgrinning--00xx3:....and yet the Chinese were doing food drops within 2 days, and had the para's in. Which country would you rather be in during a disaster?

1,000's are still living in caravans in New Orleans after all this time, and hundreds have got ill. Why? The mobile homes the government supplied have been found to contain toxic chemicals, as you are not supposed to live in them long term :doh
