Anyone use there air miles.....??

I'd never bothered with them for all the years we've been flying until I noticed I had 60,000 & the missus 48,000 :icon_eek:

So now we're looking to go to Florida later in the year for free :Erm: via Virgin....Ooer :D

Due to me having more than the wife, I can fly on to Cuba :yikes:

I notice SIA offer a 15% air mile discount if you book online, handy. A discount on something free!!

You thinking of Orlando? My daughter's going there.. in Sep... with Virgin... I'll ask her to keep an eye on you to make sure you keep out of trouble

A guy from work has been to Cuba several times... absolutely loves it...

Probably going Sept as well :yikes: I'll be the one sitting in the front seat, with a guy with a long beard next to me chanting strange words as he switches off the auto pilot :icon_eek:

Only just starting along this air miles road, mainly been short haul before my adventures in Sing although I did have the sense to join SIA krisflyer loyalty thing for the second trip, sort of like a clubcard for the skies i guess :Erm:

How else do you get them??
I think you get them with credit cards but I try to stay away from them things

You can get them in restaurants, hotels, but only the expensive ones.

Is that just in English-speaking countries? Can you get Air Kilometres too?

Blimey I'm getting a reputation already....Rob the Great Banner :NoNo::Erm:

I thought about getting air miles as well, but being an airline tart :icon_eek: I always use the cheapest one available for the journey - so it could be BA Cattle Class or Qatar Doha class :icon_lol:

if you apply for an airmiles card (https://www.airmiles.co.uk) they send you a list of places where they can be used (including sainsburys & bp i think).

I am saving 'priority club' points with intercon.
Kriss flyer with SIA
BA Points with erm.. BA

Quatar do 'QMiles' but you need to do 4 flights in one year to get a card :NoNo:

I have the Krisflyer card with Singapore airlines and was able to book a free flight from Davao to Singapore although it wasn't easy. The website allows you to book flights from Singapore to Davao but not the other way round. I also needed to top up my miles which costed $40 , but the only way to do this was by faxing in a form. Not very convenient
