    Hi Kimmi, just replying to the Hi hows the Missus and I. Both well thanks for asking hoping the same can be said for Clive and you.

    The first piece of advice I would suggest is forget all you see on the Telly in reports and films and learn about your Local area that your going to. Books and websites, Local knowledge.

    Another piece of advice from our own is to do plan with your loved one what you want to do.
    Do you want to work, stay at home, have children,study or? Most likely a mixture of the lot. But from eexperience times goes quickly and with ilr (maybe flr) sorting out bank accounts, ni, making friends, finding your way round time flys bye.

    I would advise anyone to go to college for some courses at first. I know a lot of people who settled into the UK from other countries, and going to college was a good way to meet new friends.

    At the other end of the spectrum, I know one Filipina who is married to an englishman and is miserable! No life outside the house...
