we submitted 7mos of bank statement when i applied for my visa back february 2011.i dont agree submitting 3 mos of bank statement,just imagine the cost of application its very expensive.if u dont have it yet (bank statement) wait for another months.u have waited until this time to file ur visa so few months wouldnt matter.less monthly balance in ur bank statement wouldnt affect as long as ur husband not on overdraft.

regarding filing of papers u mean?just follow on the guidance of application notes and never put it on folder or envelope.yes on ur way there put it on envelope but once ur on the vfs take it away from the envelope when u hand it to the officer.photocopies all the documents as well.so when u submit, u have the originals set and photocopy set.

i have successfully applied my visa.i am now in england.i arrived here 4 months ago after 19months of being away of my husband.just keep on reading forums here as its very informative.its not that complicated to apply as long as you have all the documents.also include an application letter that would convince the ECO to approve of you joining your husband.
