thank you very much for ur quick reply,and i think i will do what u recomment (to discuss it with the jobcentre) in the near fture when i got my FLR....this issue had been raised since i told my husband that i want to work as much as can or better say i want to look for a full time job when i got my flr....he got an idea that if i work full time there he might loose some of his benefits,but still told him that it might be better to loose some of it than restricting me for working in the best of my ability....i just hope my flr will come soon....again thank u very much!!!!

I have some questions though:
What do they mean by visa checklist, cenomar, western union receipts, inland revenue and tax return for 12 months, itinerary, coast and countryside events, official guide and hotel vouchers with receipts?

I've also read today that a lady got refused to visit her husband in the UK from India. It got refused because they weren't satisfied that she'll leave at the end of the visit or that she's seeking entry as a visitor for a period not exceeding 6 months. Her husband is the sponsor who is holding a tier 1 general visa.
She resigned her job and serving in notice period and submitted her resignation letter and all her income tax return statements.
This is the tricky visa to get if not proper family.

How's things? Good news. Urs' sister won't be moving till the middle of next year because it's a big move and takes so much time so Urs might apply in April for family visit and come in the summer.
We're keeping well and recovered after the Christmas holidays a few weeks ago.
I will send Ursula a really nice Valentines card in a few days.

so Me and Grace assumed that her application will be denied once the documents will be return because we wasn't able to pass the certificate on the date they gave us. so I decided to let Grace take an exam again this coming 24th of Jan in Manila and maybe that time the documents will come so we will write a letter of reconsideration and together with her approve english cert.

I hope I made u understand with our situation Arthur, Thank you so much for taking time reading our sad story.

I just told Grace that we will not contact Theodolite anymore to ask where is our cert because they are not helping us anyway, our time, efforts and money were all wasted...

so last 14th of Dec Grace got an email saying that they definitely got the certificate already.. so we thought that our problem is finally over.. but we thought wrong because on the 20th of Dec Grace got an email saying that Grace passed the wrong certificate it was from the not approved list, so Grace called the Theodolite again and asked for this another problem and they said that they passed the certificate coming from the EDI for the mean time and when the city and guilds cert arrive they will courier them to the brit embassy.. we are so mad for them because they didn't tell us about this..

Grace got a call from the brit embassy again on the 3rd of Jan (after the 10 days holiday) and said that Grace only have until 10th of Jan to pass the cert. and until now the cert coming from the city and guilds is not yet here (after 4 months of waiting and still counting maybe) and until now we didn't here anything from the brit embassy..

so after almost a month (6th of Dec) the brit embassy called Grace and asking for her english cert. so Grace was confused because she thought they are having an agreement between the brit embassy and the theodolite manager (he just let grace passed a letter coming from them explaining the super delay cert from the city and guilds and promised that once it will come they will forward it to the embassy right away) so the British EMbassy just gave grace until 16th of Dec to give the original cert.

Grace give a ring to theodolite for this matter and the owner said that it was being couriered already to the brit embassy and it will definitely come before the deadline 16th of Dec.
