Hi Jem. How are you. Have you been on your free holiday yet?. Im desparate for a holiday but Im being good this year and just having the one holiday in August to see Edwin. I travelled far too much last year and spent way too much money!. I expect Arnie must be glad that the weather is gradually getting warmer. x

Hi Jem. he says thats all his agency can offer him now. He needs to go back asap cos no money while hes home. Apparently they all want the Grand cos its full of Brits and we spend alot of money in the bars. Hopefully he will get something better next time. I am not going to Alaska again.

edwin is going back to the Diamond and hes not very happy about it. The earning potential on that ship is not good. I was really hoping that he would get a ship in the med or even better one that does a British Isles cruise. August seems such a long way off, but i guess i just have to be patient, hes got a 10 month contract again, so he has invited me to go back to the Phiolippines again next time he is home. Hope you are ok. x

Hi Jem. I work for Thomas Cook. I never win anything with them, but our staff discount is good. Looks like im heading out to Alaska again next year to see Edwin, im going to wait until July or August and hopefully it shouldnt be too cold!. It sems like ages to wait, but i will just have to keep myself busy. Happy New Year to you and Arnie.x

Im suffering with the jetlag more than I thought but it was worth it. Had a really good time and absolutely loved the Philippines. It was really great to see Edwin, and Ive already had my invite for next time hes home from the ship. Hes going back to the Diamond in January and I will be going to Alaska in July to see him. We had a really good time and lots of chats. He wants to stay on the ships for the moment, as he really needs the money to provide for his 2 young kids. I completely understand this, everything he does is to give them a better life. It brings a tear to my eye, hes sooo sweet. We are just going to make the most of keeping in contact whilst hes home because as you know, its not so easy when hes working to find the time or the money to call and email. Hows Arnie? is he settling in ok?

Hi Jem. We have agreed on the letter E. Hopefully it will all go smoothly. Hes getting the train to Manila and then we will get a taxi to the apartment. He seems a bit distant since he got home so I think we will be having a abit of a chat about stuff when Im there.

Thats great news that Arnie has managed to get work so quickly. Im going to be staying in a hotel/apartment in Makati its called Somerset Salcedo. Edwin is going to stay there with me, hes just left it up to me to book something, so i hope Ive picked ok. Edwin is from Santa Maria which is outside of Manila somewhere. I think!
