Hi Alan & Jen,

I read your post about your case when you apply FLR(M) and I think we are the same case. I applied for my FLR(M) last week Dec. 5 in premium service in cardiff. Then an hour a got a call from UKBA then they ask me about my English Test i submitted. They said its not in the new provided list. The English test i took is FCE ESOL and the level i got is Level B1 and it means:
Level B1 Certificate
If your performance is below Level B2, but falls within Level B1, we will recognise your achievement with a Cambridge English certificate stating that you demonstrated ability at B1 level.

Then after waiting for half an hour they give me a letter together with my husband passport. And now we are so worried cause nothing hear from them and its been 1 week now. Any advice please or any contact number to follow up my application?

Alan - i am extremely grateful for you posting the flr experience thread - as I feel my wife is in the same boat - the english test with EMD in Manila (was this the same one for you guys?) and it seems they are no longer on the list. We were due to go to Croydon on Tuesday, but I am now having to book my wife into Pearson on wednesday. The nightmare never seems to end!!!

We will have to reschedule our flr visit as well it seems.

I will be ringing them tomorrow to see what their explanation is as the whole thing is a farce!! Another £130 for the pointless test too! My wife was in tears and the whole thing is just an unnecessary stress!

I'm glad you got there in the end! Wish us luck! Once we are 'there' i really want a full explanation from the UKBA on this, its really unacceptable!!!
