"Guilty" ... as charged, Majah. It's a really nice thread ... and I enjoyed listeng to the recordings by these talented youngsters. Makes a pleasant change from racking my brains trying to answer peoples' questions about visas and how to bring their kids to the UK.

There've been quite a few changes in format recently. To view the reps you've received, click on 'Settings' ... second from the right at the top of the page. To award reputation, you will find a *black star in the long rectangular box running the entire width of the page underneath each post; click on *it and the Rep Box should pop up - enabling you to type any comment you wish to make.

Please don't hesitate to get back in touch if you experience any problems.

Yes, when people just say 'hi' a message, especially if they haven't written anything in their profile it doesn't make conversation easy! I know a lot won't get replies, but even a sentence is something. It also makes you think they might have sent mass messages to loads of people saying the same, rather than chosing a few people that they really do like & have things in common with.

Have you many plans for this w/end? Not sure what I'm doing yet, but it's meant to be raining I think, so I won't be outside much! Take care and speak later, Tim. x

Hi Majah! No probs about the delayed messages! I had one that I sent (or thought I did) and it was still in my own message box! Not quite sure what I did wrong?! Are you on a large orchestra as I know you play with 2 friends? I used to play the Piano years ago, but gave up @ 16. I hated the exams (especially the singing!), theory znd wasn't too keen on the scales! I went to an open-air concert at Leeds castle in summer '08 which was good and everyone has a picnic before the concert. Just need nice weather though which is a bit hit & miss in this country! Lol!

I'm particularly interested to hear this, because I am a fan of classical music myself. You may have noticed that a few of my recent posts have contained references to extracts from Gilbert & Sullivan light operas. My late first wife was a keen participant in local choral and amateur operatic circles ... and I suppose that's where my own interest first took root.

Hi Tim. I'm good thank you. A bit tired because of rehearsals. My shoulders are aching already! I am a member of an orchestra but just went to watch one last time. I love watching orchestras... I do get emails from fh but a simple 'hi' is not actually catchy. I find it lame. I mean, I know you can say something aside from 'hi'... I agree about those chat boxes! that is why I dont stay there for long.
