Hi, Tony ... just wanted to let you know that I feel for you and Eliza - I really do! Eliza IS right, though ... a Spouse Visa IS easier to get than a Visitor Visa.

I realise it's difficult to find work in these times of recession. But perhaps if you went along to your local Jobcentre - explaining your marital stuation - a sympathetic member of staff might help you find something suitable. And also ... it may be worthwhile approaching your Member of Parliament about things, as this can sometimes work wonders.

Hi, if you are the husband of Eliza, I recommend you view the checklist on http://www.vfs-uk-ph.com/images/Sett..._by_spouse.pdf it's everything you need to apply for spousal visa. My wife and I are going through this process, and we used this checklist.

It also gives the order in which the documents should be put.
