    Hi Steve

    Glad your wedding went well
Not stayed at Coconut Bay, but we went to have a look as a possible wedding venue. We had something to eat there & I liked all the bright paintwork...But we chose Chali Beach in the end, which is just a bit further along that road...They do a lovely mango shake there.

Yes it's horrible being apart, I'm hoping to go back march or april, just a bit busy with work at the moment.

    Hi Steve

Yes I love kinilaw, could eat some now.

My wife does live right in CDO, about 10 years, but really she is a farm girl. She grew up near Kalilangan, in Bukidnon province...it's a 5 hour bus trip, from CDO. have been there a couple of times.

We went to Camuigin, then on to Bohol by ferry, about a 4 hour trip I think...stayed at Golden Sunset Resort on Camuigin.

    Hi Steve

No Ayala are building a new mall, didn't mean the one at agora, it's on wasteland opposite Gaisano malls.

Another place to go is Eco Village, nice for a couple of hours...take a picnic with you.

Have heard of all the Hotels you mention, but haven't stayed at any of them. The VIP Hotel, is the one I used to stay at, a good budget Hotel, a couple of minutes walk to Divisoria...We did spend a few nights once at the Pryce Plaza, it's that big Hotel on the hill, on the way out of the city, to the Airport...It's got a huge illuminated sign on the roof PRYCE GAS, which shines out accross the City. Very luxurious.

We just stay at her place now, which is close to cogon market & of course saves on Hotel bills...I'm kuripot (ask your fiancee, if you don't know what it means ) I prefer it anyway, just living simply.

Good luck! with your plans, if I can help anymore, I will.

    Hi Steve

Yes. I know Ketkai & Gaisano malls well, not forgetting SM...It's nice to cool off at them. They have just started work on a new Mall, opposite the Gaisano one. Going to be the biggest in CDO...So I expect we'll both be wandering around there, in a couple of years.

Opol is nice for eating seafood, there are 3 restaurants, that go out into the sea on stilts. One's called Tabing dagat, can't remember the others, but we usually go to the middle one.

If you want to go to the beach, Bon Bon is nice, lots of resorts there.

Night cafe in Divisoria, every fri/sat night, market, food, entertainment etc.

We got married, at Chali Beach, which is out past the NSO, on that road, nice place, but no real beach.

Just a few tasters for you.
