There's no need for panic, Patrick ... honestly!

Unfortunately, it seems almost par for the course nowadays, to deny visitor visas; indeed, it happens in roughly nine cases out of every ten. But don't allow this to worry you ... such "knock-backs" have absolutely no bearing on subsequent Settlement applications. Instances of spousal visa refusals are extremely few and far between - believe me!
