i was on the base about a month ago we did visit peir one a few times and not much has changed since i was there approx a yr before except the scuba shack appeared closed not sure if a permanant thing or not
sorry i took so long to reply as ive been so busy to get on line
i agree gordon hieghts is not a bad area in general we were in coral street but were just outside olongapo now and so far all seems good

No worries for the quick add. Nice to meet someone so close in UK. I actually live near Abingdon but work in oxford. How are things with you? We nearly rented in gordon heights, its quite nice there. We used to go to peir one and jerrys grill a fair bit too. how is the base now when we wherwe there 2 years ago for a night it seemed to be full of resturants designed for the koreans. Some of the places on the beach in barrio baretto where quiet nice as well, shevens was the best for us back then. If you don't mind me asking where is the lot that you've brought?

we were renting but just bought a place there as yes i plan to spend more time there not sure if permanantly just yet but for several months at a time if plans go well
its ok to ask stuff otherwise how can like minded people meet or share information
my girl was not from there either but has family there and it was as good as any place as a start i have not seen much of the rest of the country yet so i dont know how long i would live there
yes ive been in the scuba shack but it was closed the other week so im not sure if still opening so pier one and daddy eds was our evening retreats if we ventured into subic

just read you're lass is in olongapo. I met my wife there when I was there on a cable lay ship 8 or so years ago, though she's not from there originally. Had some really good times out there especailly in the scuba shack on the beach in the base. Are you looking at emigrating out there? i too am trying to sort out moving out there but in a year or two. Do you rent out there at the moment?
