Sorry so late to answer your question, have been very busy with Christine now she arrived I ensured that every week I sent money for living expenses etc, and that I had left over £150 per week every week. I don't think the time is important, they don't specify 6 months, as long as you can show you earn enough after your bills and money sent to your wife you will be fine mate.
I sent 3 months payslips and same bank statements. No questions were asked, we both wish you the best of luck and your wife Take care John n Christine
