hi john ,cant really advise what to do during long stopover -most ive has was about 4 hrs -have no idea about bahrain airport but maybe there is website to check facilities there ,if there are free saets -then rest for some time and secure luggage ,if you are only staying near airport in manila -then pretty safe ,what airline are you flying to cdo? if u want pm me with ur e-mail so i can give you more details .

John its about £30 for your girl to fly up to you. I booked my wife to fly up and meet me. Just send her the ticket by email after you have booked it. I dont know which airline you are booked with. I use cebu pacific.

Its not far mate 10 mins max. Just make sure you ask for a taxi with a meter in it because they will try and rip you off.

Well I would go for one near the airport John. Im going to book into the Remington it looks ok and after all its just a bed for the night and its pretty cheap. Your lucky mate my Mrs wont let me stay in manila on my own.

Bloody hell John they are cheap but you have a long wait for a connection and you dont get to manila till 23.00.
