    Hi, Robert.

    Firstly, I should like to offer my apologies for this, somewhat delayed, response to your message.

    Thing is, my PC monitor went on the blink on Wednesday past, and it was only late yesterday afternoon that I managed to get the problem fixed.

    Now ... as far as the Government recommendations are concerned, I seem to recall someone here (Lastlid, I think it was) mentioning June 6 as a possible due date for these becoming effective. But that could simply be hearsay. Besides, from what you've told me in the course of correspondence we've had on the main forum, you and your good lady - between the pair of you - would appear to have more than adequate savings ... which WILL, I firmly believe, be a definite bonus if/when it comes to the crunch.

    All the very best to your wife with her forthcoming IELTS.
