Places to take your Filipina Wife after she gets here in UK
Ok before i say anything, disclaimer, we are including Filipino guys for the British ladies who are with them ...
that aside
I want to create a list of places to take the Missus when she gets here and I know it will help others
so
here's my initial
( 1) That LONDON place
( 2 ) Blackpool
( 3) Alton Towers
( 4) Birmingham's Balti Triangle
(5) Snowdonia
( 6 ) The Lake district
( 7 ) Glasgow and Edinburgh
( 8 ) Northern Ireland tour of Belfast and it's murals
. . .
any other suggestions??
Only in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - as a separate visa is required for southern Ireland - as much as I love dublin
Cheers
James. You're so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
I swear to drunk I'm not God
There's always someone as horny as you are ugly !!!

How nice of you James! I like "( 1) That LONDON place" you've mentioned.
but no hope if with hubby as he doesn't like city anymore.
Why not add the Stonehenge if she likes historical places. How about Durham Cathedral and Angel of the North.

I think the countryside of England is very lovely. Devon, Dartmoor in particular and the farmlands that looked like quilt, the coasts (jurassic coast is very lovely), Bath and other Roman places, like Silchester which has the ruins of a Roman Town and the Roman amphitheater, White horse hill, English heritage places like Stonehenge, Woodhenge and Castles....

... spoilt for choice with that "little" lot, for starters ...
... also ... how about beautiful and scenic Perthshire? It's set right in the 'Heart of Scotland' ... and easily accessible by road or rail from most parts of the UK.
Only REAL problem is the weather!

I have been thinking about this same scenario all week

I think the main thing first of all with my Mahal is my home city and everything I an think of doing together. Theatre, comedy club, bars, places to eat.. Just getting around and experiencing the culture.
after that, it would be the wider UK and even places I want to visit myself.. I have yet o visit cornwall! Edinburgh! laces that I want to visit but would rather visit with someone, these are the places I will go... As well as the odd trip to blackpool and Alton Towers

How about the west country, always a beautiful place to be, but we are all locally bias in that respect.
My Mahal says she watched the new Robin Hood film, so when she comes over we are going to go to some 'real' castles. A really good one for us 'southerners' is Arundel Castle. Also being close to Wales, there are several good ones there. Stone Henge is good, but a shame you cannot get right up to the stones these days.
I told my mahal this morning that I will take her to the beach fishing one night, she was excited about that, then I told her it will be so cold that she will lose the feeling in her feet and hands, something she has never experienced before
Warming up is always fun though
