I might have met a 'special someone'!

I've been meaning to get round to write what's been happening with me for sometime, so thought I'd better get round to it!

As some of you might remember just over a year ago I stopped contact with Suzie from Cebu after she met another guy after disappearing. Then last March I had a couple of dates with another Filipina in UK, but missed out as she thought I wasn't interested and had another date with someone else who asked her to be his girlfriend on the very first date and she said yes!

Well, since then I had things to be keep me busy, but I also spent quite a bit of time on a Filipina Cupid (formally Filipina heart), Date in Asia or Asian dating (formally Asian Euro). I chatted to quite a few in the UK, and got on better with some than others and even met 2 who were nice, but we just didn't really 'click' enough and there wasn't any special feeling. I found that most on the UK sites, were maybe not so serious about meeting someone or were not keen enough on me. We could chat along fine and maybe we might give each other our Yahoo details, but then I'd be on Yahoo and didn't see them online there, but regularly saw them active on the dating sites. Or we'd chat on the dating site and got on well, then they'd disappear for weeks.

Anyway, back in late October not long after re-newing on Filipina cupid for another month, I received a message from a lady called Viva. Now I wondered if this might be the Viva that was already a friend on my Facebook as her name was the same and the photo looked similar. I had added her several months before and she had accepted, but that was about it really. She has many friends on her Facebook as she runs a Fashion/creative/art shop with her sister and also organizes events and parties etc. Of course it turned out that it was her which was great and it also allowed us to find out more each other easily and find out what we had in common etc (I had added her to my Facebook as she seemed very interesting, we had quite a few things in common and of course she was rather gorgeous!).

We started by e-mailing and then soon went on to Yahoo. She was so easy to chat to and it was easy to chat for ages and I definitely feel more for her than any of the other girls that I've been in contact with before. Also we are both similar in that we hadn't really had a long or serious relationship before and because of that I think we are both trying to be a little cautious and not get too carried away! I asked for her address so I could send a Christmas card, but also decided to send a little soft toy! Just after Christmas I decided to send her a calendar & maybe something else and was very surprised and happy when she said that she had also sent me a present & card by quick post! When it arrived she had sent me a bag, a t-shirt, a short-sleeve shirt and little personalize photo hanging frame! Sadly the shirts didn't fit as she had gone by my height and bought extra large! Lol! But I didn't mind so much as the main thing for me was that she had thought of me!

Here's a bit more:
A few weeks back she said that she might be coming to UK to do a course at an Art school, but she wasn't sure if it would be Easter or Summer. Then when we spoke another time a few days later, she said that it would be April and she would probably be coming for most of the month with her sister (who will study another short course) and mum! When I looked into it, it seems that the course is only for 4 days, but I'm not sure if I looked at the right bit at the Art College or not? She's already been to UK before, but only for 3 days about 3 years ago. She's also been to USA, Canada, Italy, Japan, Korea and some other places. She said that she can't wait to go out places with me and hope it won't rain so much this time! I've already got plenty of ideas for places to visit, but not sure if we'll have time to visit the all! At the moment, they are waiting for the student Visa applications, but she seems pretty confident.

We finally saw each other on webcam nearly 3 weeks ago. It was funny as I mentioned it earlier when chatting that time, but as it was nearly midnight she said that she would sleepy! But then later she asked if she could quickly see me before going to sleep? So we saw each other and then chatted for another 45 minutes! Lol!

The other week, as I was sending a parcel to her with those extra Christmas presents and a few little bits for Valentines day, I sent her sister a message on Facebook asking if she could help by hiding the parcel (as it would probably arrive early) and giving it to Viva on the right day. I said who I was and knew that Viva had mentioned about me to her sister and of course mentioned could she please keep this secret! Anyway the reply from her sister just said "I don't know you"! Great! The next morning I got a text from Viva asking about what is this surprise and that it's not her birthday yet?! Of course her sister had only gone and told Viva, spoiling my surprise! But luckily hadn't said all the details! I just replied to Viva, that it was just those late Christmas present things and I couldn't say any more or it wouldn't be a surprise at all!


If all goes well with the visa applications, any helpful advice on how to create a good impression with her mum and sister too will be greatly appreciated!

Here's another update!:


I got a quote from Bananadoo courier service, but when I went to get another quote for a different size parcel, I found that another courier company called Postage supermarket had bought them and their prices were more expensive! I then had more hassle in that a book I bought to send to her from a seller on Amazon, hadn't sent the book and it was delaying me sending the parcel. I also sent them message with no reply, so I bought the same book again from another seller and this time it arrived the next day. For most of the small items that I was sending to her, I bought a box and some embroidered silk material and covered the box with that an some fancy paper. It took ages and 2 whole evenings! I also bought lengths of various ribbons that complimented the paper. Maybe I'll add a photo of it later?!

I booked the courier through Transglobal express who I used before and
the parcel was booked early yesterday afternoon, was picked up about 3.30pm and by the evening it was already in Germany! Then this morning it was in or near Hong Kong and a little while ago it was already in Pampanga, Phils! Not bad in just over a day! Not sure how long it will be in customs though. As I was disappointed that I wouldn't be able to see her opening it, she said she would open it on the webcam so I can see, so I'm looking forward to that!

she knows about my cars and said she'd even come with me to a show to see what I get up to! There will be other shows as well when she's over, but I don't think going to more than one is fair and I can go to plenty of others throughout the year, when she won't be around. Besides, I'd prefer to spend a day out with her rather than another car show anyway!

Don't worry, Ampy, Doc Alan, Aposhark and Terpe I'll just be myself, it's not in me to try and be someone else!

Not sure if I'll first be meeting Viva on her own or all of them together?! Don't think I'll be able to pick them up from the airport as getting 4 people, 3 suitcases and hand-luggages in my car might be a bit tight! Guess it depends on how big their suitcases and hand luggages are!
