Wireless USB dongle for boys desktop

I need to buy a new dongle as current 3 yr old £6 Vivanco one for some odd reason seems to be making the Vista system blue screen. Should I buy a 150mbps or 300mbps one ? Wireles G or Wireless N ? I'm guessing 150 Wireless N would be the one.

Its to talk to a standard O2 home wireless box

I've tried a variety of dongles over the past couple of years with varying success. Currently I'm using a Realtek USB N 150 rated dongle along with a Belkin N+ rated modem on my main laptop. I've had this set up for about 2 months and so far so good, none of the drop outs I had with previous modems and dongles have occured. I don't know how much these cost as I got them through work

Re above set up, sometimes I'm using up to 3 lap tops, 2 smart phones, a tablet and a PSP on this set up with no noticeable drop in performance. Speedtests are regularly coming in at around 16 Mbps
