Sorry i've been really busy with work all week and not been on here - too many people taking holidays all at the same time!

ok, where to begin...
I'll try to answer some questions now

I lived with my ex for 6 and a half years, but split up about 2 years ago now.
For the last year I've been on match.com
I met and went out with a fillipino lady from match, for 2 or 3 months.
She was really lovely, but just not the one I guess.
I've met maybe 10 or 12 other women on match, and a couple of them were also filipino.
They were lovely too, and so were all their friends and house mates.

So the general feeling I have is that filipinos are really nice people.
Exactly what I'm looking for

I even learned a couple of rude words in tagalog hehe
but dont worry, I wont type any on here

Of the women I've met over the last year, the filipinos seemed really nice, so I sometimes search for them specifically on match.com
Then I just happened to find this website
But I dont think I would travel to another country to try to find someone,
I feel that I should be able to find and fall in love with someone already here.
Its so much easier to just meet someone for coffee and see if there is that spark.
Even if she has a short visa, at least we would have met, then we can worry about living here, etc.

I was rushing things before because I was hopelessly praying to meet the man of my dreams but I was unfortunate. Just like the song says: "Wise Men say only fools rush in..." I believe what happened to me was a learning. God wanted me to experience different things and focus in life. In God's will and in His own time, I know I will be able to meet the man of my dreams.

For now, I am more concentrated with career and my education.
