UK Border Farce Programme Pick TV
Just watched an episode from a couple of years ago of this long running comedy series.
It defies belief that not only did the Home Office stump up the cash to make this programme but allowed Sky to broadcast it :-
Spring Onion Farm in Worcs raided by 20 officers of the 18 workers there 17 were found to be illegals 15 were let go on "immmigration bail" and have "absconded"
Stop and check operation at Stratford Station London netted 7 - 6 of whom "absconded"

I saw that one recently too (again).

One of the worst I've seen - difficult to stop putting my boot into the TV.
It just shows what brass necks the Home Office have if they think this puts them in a good light with Joe Public

I find it ridiculous, almost makes me laugh, they run into these places all guns blazing, dolled up in their uniforms shouting, give these people a real grilling and then ends with "Ok Mr. X. Have a really nice day, and don't forget to pop back and see us every week to get the date of your deportation, thank you so much....."
The interesting parts are seeing them grilling people applying for visas or entering the country, there is some good info for people applying and how the process goes.
