Its been some years ago for me.
We took a ferry boat from Dumaguete to Siquijor. It didn't take long, less than an hour coast to coast then about half an hour by trike to the resort.
To be honest Branno Siquijor was just great. It has everything you need for a relaxing break. Well almost everything. We only stayed 3 days but were told that there were no ATM's around. Luckily between us all we just about had enough cash.
Anyway you might want to check that.
It's an interesting place with a mountain bang in the centre of the island, there are forests, caves, churches, spectacular diving sites, beautiful white powder beaches and a pretty good coastal road. Oh and of course the stunning cyrstal-clear ocean waters.
Now, Coco beach resort was just heaven. I'm sure you'll love it
We had a nice villa right on the beach. Just get out of bed and stretch your legs to almost dip your feet into the ocean.
Everything was just perfect and no compliants about anything. All the staff were so friendly and helpful.
At that time all the villas were occupied, so quite a few people around, but just didn't seem like it. Seemed almost empty sometimes.
There were quite a few westerners staying at the resort, mostly Germans and Americans. Got talking to a few who told us there are quite a lot of westerners who actually live on the island. Mostly retired it seems.
We were pretty lucky during our break as every night was seafood buffet night, mmmm, although one night we did go to the resort restaurant. (pricey)
Anyway plenty of places to eat around the area.
The whole place is just magical.
You can organise tours and activities directly at the resort.
Whaaah, now you got me thinking again.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.
