US deals $700million blow to Pakistan
A US Congressional panel has frozen $700m (£450m) in aid to Pakistan until it gives assurances it is tackling the spread of homemade bombs in the region.
The move reflects US frustration over what it sees as Islamabad's reluctance to act against militant groups.
But it has has been criticised by senior Pakistani politicians.
The killing by US forces of Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan in May and continuing US drone strikes in Pakistan have badly strained ties between the countries.
Washington is also known to be unhappy about what it sees as lacklustre Pakistani efforts to counter the al Qaeda-linked Haqqani network, which it believes operates out of Pakistan and fights US troops in Afghanistan.

I wish our Govt would take note but go further and permanently cancel all aid to this nest of vipers

I think it's more likely that some of the money foreign based Pakistani's send home is syphoned off to help fund activities against the west rather than the aid money western governments send . Maybe the UN should ban any foreign currency transfers by private individuals into Pakistan.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

90% of the worlds H is still produced in Afghan and conduited out into pakistan en-route to the west,I went to a village in Pakistan once,a stones throw from the Khyber-pass,the village had only 2 sources of income, both were readily available and on display in numerous shops, both were quite deadly, drugs and weapons.

There are probably loads all over this country too.
Ooooh, mustn't discuss such things in case we from the 90% majority upset someone in the minority muslim immigrant community.
We are now gagged as far as free speech is concerned, obliged to tolerate them and their primitive belief system wherever they decide to put down roots in our villages, town and cities, demanding their 'right' to interfere with OUR traditions and culture, and to pick and choose which of our laws they obey.
Try doing that in their countries in the 21st century.
