MNL to CRK by public transport
Can anyone please confirm that it is possible to get a bus from Megamall, EDSA, Manila, to Clark airport ? If so any idea where I can see the times etc ?
We have flights to MNL and intend staying for a few days in the Cainta area, then to travel to Penang.
It would seem that Clark Airport to Kuala Lumpur then to Penagn would be the best and cheaper way.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks Tanga,
I decided that I will travel MNL to PEN.
The cost is considerably more (583$US, £375 return) but hopefully very much more straightforward. CRK - KUL then KUL - PEN, was OK on outward flight but return times from KUL to CRK would have meant an overnight in KL

Cebu Pacific Manila to KL (LCCT) is an early afternoon flight, unlike many of the other routes they fly (BKK,HCMC) $583 seems expensive. We did Manila to KL then on to Phnom Penh on Air Asia then HCMC home to Manila on Cebu Pacific last October. Booked online total cost was just over P21000 about £300 for two including extra luggage fee on return.
Try to visit Melaka. We find it better than Penang but we are not beach bums
Enjoy your trip

Tanga, yes it was expensive,
Clark (CRK) to Penang (PEN) by Asia Air would have been about £90 one way
I booked Malaysia Air.

For anyone who is looking at this route in the future I will do the route from MNL to CRK...
When you land walk up to the departures at MNL (International only) and get a White taxi to ensure you are not ripped off... Get the Taxi to either 5Star or Victory Liner terminal in Passay for <200php (about 150)..
Bus to Dau for 145php (ish) and then taxi the aircon Jeepney to CRK for 50php - I am sure it's to Dau but may run from SM Mall and if it's does just get the Jeepney to SM Jeepney Terminal for 12php and then get the Aircon Jeepney...
That's the cheapest route.

That's the way I always used to go 'home' to Angeles, except sometimes I'd just walk to Victory Liner.
