    Stuck in the Philippines

I have been here in the Philippines for about 3 and a half months .. I came here to get a visit visa for my niece aged 3. Her mum (my sister) just up and left her ( i know such a wonderful person she is ). We have been denied! I then appealed and now the appeals tribunal has emailed me saying my appeal has been successful. HURRRAAAAY!! but i have to wait 12 weeks????? why is that? I will paste below the email sent to me. Are they using pigeons, to deliver mail?

My question is: Is there a way I can speed it up??

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Thank you for your e-mail.

We can confirm that your appeal was successful and a determination outlining the reasons for this was sent to on 16/12/11. As this appeal has been allowed we are no longer dealing with issues involving the issuance of the visa.

It can take a minimum of twelve (12) weeks for the Entry Clearance Officer to receive the appeal decision at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office where the Visa application was made. If heard nothing after those twelve (12) weeks, should contact the Entry Clearance Officer at the Post where lodged the application.

Alternatively can contact the Visa Correspondence Services at:

    Email: PublicVisaEnqs@fco.gov.uk

Heyyyyy stranger "Stuck in Manila" sounds like a movie title like "Sleepless in Seattle" glad you got your niece the visa, poor kid,at least she has an aunt whom really loves her, good luck will come your way for that

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

Hey joe, you almost gave me a mini heart attack ) i have read the emails carefully and i am a 100% sure that the appeal was for a visa. We opted for it to be heard on paper, and just before christmas i faxed the duty immigration judge begging for my appeal to be heard sooner. I explained that i have a westie waiting for me back home lol! My husband the super hero that he is, is looking after my dawg, he has been working from home since september!

Tawi-tawi miss you much!! Hope youre ok.

Thanks hawk will call the number you gave me today
