Thread: new laptop

    hi all , well the laptop i have is getting old, or is it me, well i am thinking of getting a new one, so which one, any ideas, budget is around 3 to £400, dont watch films on it just look at holidays down load all the pictures but to a external harddrive, down download music, be nice to have bluetooth plus anything else for that price, i am use to a acer, but see what you all think, thanks for the great advice that will be coming my way, also if its secondhand i may consider it to,

    As per the tread Terpe has pasted above, these sound like bargains for £100. Even if they only last a year, they are still good value for money

    Hi Steve the last PC Pro roundup had a good Acer as its number 1 laptop in the budget section, it's he Acer TimelineX 4830T at £479 its battery lasted just over 10 hours.

    They recommend www.saveonlaptops.co.uk have a look if you get any questions I'll be happy to answer them..

    You can get new ones off Ebay with 1600 pixel 17" screens for around £300 with Dual Core. With this pixel size they are a bargain.
